All Atlanta Public School Students must perform 75 hours of community service to graduate.  Juniors, you may turn these forms in to your counselors at any time; you need not wait until your senior year.

Junior class dues are currently $85, and on March 15  they increase to $90. Students will NOT be allowed to attend the prom during junior year OR senior year until the junior dues are paid, so don’t wait until the last minute.  Give your cash or money order (payable to Grady High School) to Ms. Anderson.

It is tradition for the junior class to organize the prom each year, and the junior dues you pay are for the prom. The prom will be Saturday, April 21 at the Fulton County Atrium.

As of Monday, September 25, there is a new procedure and a new application for a Certificate of Attendance. Plan ahead!

Spring 2007 College Board SAT test dates: January 27, March 10, May 5 and June 2.

Each program will offer need-based scholarships if the class meets the minimum number of students. Contact Ms. Oliver in the Counselors’ Office to indicate your interest in a scholarship.

For independent SAT preparation:
Software is available for students to work independently in the school computer lab. The junior and senior counselors, Mr. Arnold and Mrs. Oliver, have additional information.

SAT Online: College Board offers a free SAT preparation course online. Counselors have a walkthrough card that spells out the procedure for registering for the course.

The Atlanta-Fulton County library system, in partnership with the College Board, is offering SAT preparation classes for free.  The class times vary by locations.
